Launch Campaign

Inspired by the world's best player, Cristiano Ronaldo, Nike's fastest boot ever has arrived. I worked on the early stages of this ad with the Nike Football in-house design team. Exploring the idea of having different objects exploded by the speed of the boots, and creating the early story boards of this concept.

I worked on the concept phase of the project, and created the visuals of the still frames as well as the motion references which where then translated into the final animation.

The final animation was then created by Man vs Machine.

CONCEPT STILL FRAMES

Here is a behind the scenes look of the concept still frames and visuals that lead to the final launch animation. The process included taking a lot of objects and visualizing and understanding the physics behind how they would shatter as well as how they react with other objects and the ground surface. The still frames also captured the environment, mood, and look and feel what the final visual needed to convey.

PERSPECTIVE

Part of the visual conceptualization was to capture the look and feel of the pieces flying in the air from different camera perspectives. Some scenes capture the broken elements coming towards the camera where as others have a side view of them flying away from the camera.
