Zero
A delivery robot who bends time
Character design from first idea to final 3D for Ztaat, an online food ordering brand whose name means super fast in Arabic. Zero is built as a futuristic robot with a time machine in its head, letting it teleport food to customers at impossible speed.
Process
The work began by exploring different themes and character options that could carry the brand story. Once the concept settled on a robot with the power to transform and travel through time, the focus shifted to personality, working out what its expressions and moods should be. Zero moved from sketch to illustration to a final 3D model, rendered for use across the brand’s elements.
