Nike Flyknit Mercurial
Launch campaign with Nike Football.
Nike’s fastest boot ever had arrived, inspired by the football legend, Cristiano Ronaldo. We collaborated with Nike Football’s in-house design team on art direction, still frames, conceptual exploration, and storyboarding, visualizing everyday objects being explosively affected by the sheer speed of the boot.
Through the concept and art direction phase, the work spanned style frames, motion studies, and visual references that set the final direction of the piece. The final animation was produced by the team at Man vs Machine.

Art Direction & Exploration
Most of the exploration lived in destruction. Fracture simulations tested how different materials break apart, from the way surfaces splinter to how the debris catches light, while weave studies went deep into the Flyknit itself, thread by thread. Alongside the simulations, a set of cinematic angle tests shaped how the hero shots would eventually be framed.
